It’s my first Pc build and I’m running to an issue...so I have everything in the necessary places they need to be plugged into and the cpu is in the socket properly( no pressure applied just fell right in)...gpu is in and everything but when I power it up...no display what so ever and i get one long beep and 2 short beeps. I don’t know whats going on, any help?

According to the manual for your motherboard "If 1 long 2 short beeps are heard, remove and reinstall the graphics card and then restart the computer."

It's also under the section in troubleshooting for if your power is on but no signal to the monitor.

I would definitely not have gotten that mobo with those specs but since you did you should have debug lights right next to the 24 pin. if theyre not lit up, it is probably not a hardware issue

ps the text for the dubug lights are so small they are practically unreadable so just a heads up

it doesn't really improve performance much, in a nutshell x570 has slightly better performance, pcie gen 4 and higher quality. I would have spent that extra money on a better gpu.

Ok I got you... but I gotta that extra to buy another gpu...the 470 that’s in there I bought for 40 bucks because I wanted to hurry and get my build together...what do you suggest though..stick with the mobo and get better gpu or get another mobo and gpu altogether

So I'm assuming you haven't reseated the graphics card yet (fully take it out and reinsert)? Also I would try just 1 single RAM stick in first slot till you get it to POST.

Well I’ve reseated multiple times already now and still the same even with one single ram stick...

since you already have it is fine

if you are hinting that you dont have it, get a better gpu than a 470
