Pre-built Gaming PC

My friend is looking into getting a gaming pc, but doesn't want to build one, and I can't build one for him. His budget is $2500 CAD, no streaming planned and he will need a 144hz monitor. His budget is flexible however.

 

Any recommendations?

I suggest to your friend that he must build a PC to maximize that massive budget.

Should he will be insisting on a pre-built, I suggest checking out OriginPC or Digital Storm. At least it is something that is customized from the factory.

Yeah im trying to get him to build a PC.. just he wants to see the prebuilt options, and OriginPC was hella expensive

Would try to get something like @otennicegg3 suggested OriginPC or Digital Storm since buying a Pre-built asus for example for $2000 you will maybe only get an i5 and an 1660 or 2060, there also is some services that build a pc for a small fee with desired parts

Also - I forgot to change the CPU cooler, to a bigger AIO, or should he go w an aircooler for that

Looks good but 32gb is not needed but you know "If you have the money get it" also that mobo WiFi isn't needed just get the one without WiFi and get a pci network adapter

If he only does the usual PC and/or gaming stuff then a good air cooler like most Cooler Masters and Deepcools will do. If he is a defined disciple of K1NGPIN or any other notable overclocker then a great AIO like most of the Corsair or Cooler Master AIO offerings will suffice.

Yeah; we wanted 32gb and wifi, so the board is easier to deal with than having an add in card if i need to help him troubleshoot tbh

Its a great graphics card, tough if they only have the blower model the noise levels is worth skipping it... (not worst but its audible)

CyberPower Inc.pdf Updated, replaced 5700XT due to the type they offer, went for 2070 super instead (i know this is worse for price/performance). Also updated cooler. Any other issues to fix?

It looks decent in my opinion as far as Cyberpower goes. I agree. Worse price/perf for GPU. You can make other quotations to other pre-built specialists to see if they can pull off a better price for your friend's rig.
