best obs settings

i've been wanting to record some gameplay with obs but i just cant find the right balance between quality and file size

does anyone have any experience with obs to help?

my specs are: ryzen 7 2700, rx 5700xt and 32gb of ram so i can go with cpu encoding

(btw im playing in 4k and i want the output to be 1080p 30fps)

Gpu Based

1. H.265 codec For 4k and up (No improvement in 1080p but you can try it. Don't know if amd has one)
2. H.264 codec For 1080p and below
3. 30,000~50,000 kbps CBR

CPU

1. x264 codec
2. fast ~ medium 
3. 10,000~30,000 CBR (Play around with this. This will increase cpu usage)

x265 is heavy on the cpu, so it was not an option unless you have a second PC set-up
