Hi So I'm planning to buy a gaming pc and I don't really know if the RTX 2080 Super would bottleneck with either R5 3600 or R7 3700x

would a 700w 80 plus bronze be enough for it?

Btw I currently own a 1060 3gb with an i7 6700 is it worth it the upgrade

Btw my monitor is 60hz and i am looking forward for upgrading it after the pc but would my 2080 be capable of 60hz/1080p?

700 watts is way more than you need.

There are a million 80+ bronze power supplies out there, what specific unit are you looking at?

start by buying the 2080 first, the 6700 is still a decent CPU.

it is capable of way, way more than that. Up to 1440p 144Hz is appropriate for this graphics card.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

And a 700w

Isn't always good it could be a really meh or even a fire hazard unit

700w and an 80 plus bronze rating would probably mean it's a lower end unit

Getting a really good quality 650w unit is more worth it

😬 This raises alot of red flags

Get something like a cx650 or if you can afford an rm650x is even better

what country are you buying in?

PSU prices are quite bad now unfortunately. I'll see if there's a good value option.
