Hello people
I'm looking for a 200$ ish (actualy 200€ish as I live in europe) phone cause my old samsung is hanging on by sheer force of will.
The only real thing I need is for it to be reliably Android, don't want to risk on a huawei not supporting the play store a year from now, expandible storage may also be nice.
Can go a little overbudget, and I'm actually trying to find a carrier contract on a midrange or higher phone (no luck on that for now).
U guys have any recomandations?

Get a used one, phones didnt really Change that much over the last few years IMO.

I got a used S7 edge for 100 € a year ago.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Can you provide a link to a seller (or sellers) that you are likely to buy from?

Reason being, phones dont cost the same all across the world. Availability is also an issue

It will also be of help (to both of us) if you can tell us what you want the phone to excel at and what you want to avoid.

I'll start looking on Amazon (Italy) for something good with expandable storage.

Edit:

From Amazon Italy

https://www.amazon.it/dp/B07XY42ZGX/

I'm definitely not a power user, the only thing I want it to excell at is for it to not loose the option to run google play, period..
The expandable storage is nice, nostalgia photo keeping tends to kill low storages.
and I was so obviously going to buy from amazon that I didn't mentioned it.

I know aviability differs, but most not niche devices tend to be in the same price range In europe and Usa

EDIT: Also,Xiaomi is, as huawei, a Chinese company, doesn't it have a google software interdiction pending or something like that?

Refurbished phones can be a good option too. Bought my pixel 3a XL refurbished and it's good as new, whilst saving £200 from MSRP. I bought a "very good" condition from Music Magpie on eBay. Could also look at the renewed phones on Amazon. If you look around you can get some great deals on pristine or very good condition phones, just make sure there's some sort of warranty offered by the refurbisher.
