Gray/black bar at the top of ROG PG279Q after couple of years of use.

So, I posted a while back to no responses about seeing a black or gray bar at the top or near the top of my ROG PG279Q panel. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?
Of course something like this happens just AFTER the panel goes out of warranty from my local retailer. Might still be covered by Asus but I'm not sure.

Oh oh some progress! It does appear that it could be burn in. The line is a the same spot as the bookmarks bar in Firefox and I can see now for the first time a few bookmarks in this black line.

Buuuut it does appear to be only visible on desktop.....
