Hello!

So I bought a new gpu a few weeks back. EVGA 2060 KO ultra and the fans making a random noise every now and again. Video attached so people can hear it.

I contacted them and they said... the noise is due to hybrid dynamic fan bearing and this is normal for fans running at low RPM.

They said this isn’t a defect and is how the fans are designed.

I feel like that’s a lot of garbage.

They said I should do a custom fan curse etc to stop the issue.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Kinda sounds like someone is snoring hahahaha

Posting this on a couple of pages to get everyone’s opinion

Thanks and take care 🙂

First of all can you please upload the video here because you can

Second of all if it is what I'm thinking of

Try setting a fan curve and see if that helps

thanks for the reply, i appreciate it

I didnt upload the video to the forum as it is over 100 mb.

From what i gather i can set a curve over at 40% and that stops the issue but setting the fan curve at 40% means i can hear it a fair whack.

My pc is in my room and i keep it on so i can have some background noise to help me sleep / block out my tinnitus and when the fan revs up and makes that noise itll keep me up instead of calm me down
