New look old rig

Hi guys,

Just finished updating the look of my old pc, it was previously in a htpc case by silverstone and was a bit of mess inside with cables everywhere.

So updated the rig with a new gpu gtx 1070 ftw, gone from 8 gb to 16 gb of ram and matched the colour to the rest of the build. New Black and red cables along with a h100i platinum aio and some new corsair case fans.

Still rocking i5 4690k might upgrade to the i7 4790k if I can get a good priced 2nd hand one. (not sure yet)

Msi Z97m motherboard with 2 Samsung ssds in raid 1 for boot drive and 1 tb mechanical soon to be upgraded to 2 tb ssd.

Let me know if I should consider upgraded the cpu or not?

love the look! every time I think of a red aesthetic I think of overdone and too "gamery" but this is tasteful. Also didnt know MSI made power supplies.

What brand of cables did you go with?

Thank you belac F that’s very kind of you.

The power supply is actually a Corsair rm 550 but I took the stickers off and wrapped it in carbon fibre and added a msi metal badge that came with the motherboard, the cables are cable mod replacement cables.
