Horrible GPU performance

Go to solution Solved by Shimejii,

Userbenchmark is one of the WORST benchmarks you can actually run. Its not good for comparing data. Dont use it and dont let it tell you what your hardware is doing.

I did the benchmark and got a 7% on GPU performance.  Then I overclocked the card with MSI afterburner and my score actually went down to 3.5%.  There was also a noticable dip in FPS in game.  So I reset the clock speed to default in Afterburner but the benchmark score stayed the same.

I did a benchmark recently on my PC and it said that my 1050 ti was performing very poorly, any idea on fixing this?  Here is the benchmark results. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28454533

userbenchmark is not good at all. do not ever use it for actual performance stats

stuff is cool. stuff that has fancy lighting is cooler. stuff that has fancy lighting and works is the coolest.

i game so i know a bit abt gaming tech, not much abt professional tech.

In game performance has also not improved.

Ok, do you have any recommendations for a better benchmark tool?

compare your fps to fps posted by others' on say youtube (make sure games and setting are the same), are yours significantly worse than others'?

The fps was well over 60 most of the time until I tried to over clock it.  I was playing Microsoft Flight Sim X, not a very demanding game at all.
