Build recommendations and feedback

Budget (including currency): 500 - 1000 US Dollars

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and light workloads

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am upgrading from an old 2009 HP pavilion with a GT 750 which recently had a motherboard short. I am thinking of starting fresh with all new well valued parts and upgrading some peripherals. I am completely open on suggestions to make my pc use better valued parts, and I intend to save for this over time so you can go over the budget.
