VRAM hitting 95c!

I have a gigabyte 5700xt and my VRAM temps are insane! I noticed this while playing Control no OC on VRAM. GPU core is sitting at around 80c but the VRAM is at 95! Does anyone have any suggestions. Is it worth it to underclock it to 1700/1675mhz from the stock 1750?

i remember hearing about a few 5700xt cards that have problems with the vram overheating maybe u got unlucky and your gpu is missing its heatpads or the cooler is a bit loose 95c is not normal as far as i know and could get unhealthy if u run it at that temps all the time

Didn't even think about missing thermal pads, thanks for the heads up. I'll try and get some and see if that fixes things.
