I am new to building computers, I have the knowledge on putting one together but don't know how to select the parts.  I am looking for a set up that will be mostly used for heavy Lightroom and Photoshop work, and light video editing, mostly at 1080p with the hopes of smooth editing.  I will also be sharing this with my girlfriend so she can use it to play sims 4 on.  I already have external saving stations and solutions in place.  Main goal is smooth experience for the Sims 4 and non frustrating video editing experience.
