High ping between 2 PCs on the same network...

Hello I need help, pinging my brother in cmd gives out a high ping even though we're in the same network. What could usually cause this and how can I remedy it?

Sidenote, ping sometimes lowers to 3-7ms but at times it fluctuates to 50-500ms which makes LAN games like minecraft unplayable. Help please!

Motherboard: MSI B450m Mortar Max

PSU: Seasonic GX-750

Case: Inplay Robin 101 + 10 fans w/ hub and remote

Storage: Toshiba 1TB, Western Digital WD Green 1TB, Crucial BX500 480GB

What kind of ping do you get when playing onine games?

If it is high too it could be your router.

Also if you are using Wifi try moving your PCs, there could be something interfering with your signal.

I get a low and stable ping of around 20-30 at max 60 when playing games like League, so I don't think online games are affected by this for some weird reason.
