Computer keeps freezing like clockwork

Go to solution Solved by AMD A10-9600P,

Your AMD A6 is back from 2013, along with a hard drive, neither of those will be helping your performance too much, do you optimize the computer much? Like making sure that there's not many programs loading at start up? Also I had an issue with my old laptop with an A10 where the processor became pinned at 0.79GHz, everything slowed down massively, I solved this by using DDU to wipe it clean of any AMD drivers and then reinstalled the combined CPU/GPU drivers from HPs support site

Ok, so yesterday I was doing sh*t on my laptop, you know, watching YouTube, playing Doom mods, stuff like that. Today, I woke up, booted up my laptop, and, for whatever reason, it just keeps freezing ever second and a half or so for two to three seconds. I tried updating my drivers, restarting, checking my BIOS, nothing has helped. So, can anyone here help me? It’s an HP Pavilion n028us, with 6 gigs of RAM, with around 5 and a half gigs unused, running on Windows 10.

Used a DDU, everything is now working just fine. Thanks for the help!

Wow that's brilliant! I just mentioned it on the off chance you were having a similar issue, as it did sound like the same symptoms mine had, glad to be of help!
