I recently bought a Supernova 1000 G2 off ebay that did not come with any cables. I currently own a Supernova 850 T2 with working cables. I'm wondering if it would be safe to use the cables from the 850 T2 on the 1000 G2, or if I should play it safe and buy a new cable set. From the EVGA FAQ ( https://www.evga.com/support/faq/FAQdetails.aspx?f=59698), it seems that 1300W and under PSU have their own set of cables; the FAQ mentions that the 1300W cables can be used for 850W PSUs, but not the other way around. I won't be drawing over 800W from the system, and I was hoping the compatability issue is from a power draw standpoint only, since 1300W cables are compatible with 850W PSUs. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?
