Corsiar carbide SPEC-Omega

Corsair k95 PLATINUM Cherry MX BROWN

stuff is cool. stuff that has fancy lighting is cooler. stuff that has fancy lighting and works is the coolest.

i game so i know a bit abt gaming tech, not much abt professional tech.

stick with one brand if you can.  RGB software will often conflict with each other and just cause problems.

There are some 3rd party's make "mystic light" compatible RAM.

But if you are using the corsair keyboard, you will need their software loaded anyway, so I would suggest just sticking with them.

I haven't used the MSI software, so i can't speak for what it can do.  But the corsair software is a LOT Better then GIGABYTE  and Asus offerings.

There are a few projects around.  but depending what you are trying to do, you may not need the software loaded all the time.

For me, I could run the Asus software, set the RGB for my video card, then uninstall it, and the card would retain the settings.  And for my Giga-byte motherboard,  I have the same RGB UI in the bios, so I just go there when I want to change it.

I am working on an open source RGB control application called OpenRGB.  It supports a wide variety of devices on both Windows and Linux.  It is still in early development but is usable in its current state.  I just added an SDK so that other apps can control RGB through it.

https://gitlab.com/CalcProgrammer1/OpenRGB

The supported devices list can be found on the project wiki.

I also have an audio visualizer app that syncs all your devices using the OpenRGB SDK and can flash them to music.

It is quite funny that i found a link from PC-gamer but no other links to prove it is working as intended. It sounds almost (altrough there is openRGB) to good to be true... Is there someone with experience with this software?
