Oculus Quest vs Rift S

Hi.

I am looking into getting a vr headset. I want to Play games like Beatsaber and Half-Life: Alyx.
I have a fairly decent Pc with a Ryzen 7 2700, 16 GB Ram and a GTX 1070.
I was looking into some Videos and talked to a friends who has a vr headset (a Oculus Rift) and got to the choice between a Quest and the Rift S.
So what should I get?  I heard the Rift S has a better experience on pc than the Quest, but the Quest has an OLED, with better Contrast and a higher resolution.
The Quest can also be used on its own, which i may use (idk, maybe not), and it has the finger tracking (how good is that at the moment?).

Plus i could use the Quest with my Laptop (i7 (some 8 core), 16 GB Ram and GTX 1060), but i don't know if i would do that often (mainly to show it to my family, or something).

I live in Germany which means both headsets are around 450€, and i don't want to spend much more than that.

Is the experience of the Rift S, really that different to the Quest with Link?

Quest is more versatile, plus you've got the possibility to run it with a PC wirelessly using Virtual Desktop which works great, nothing else offers this without expensive wireless adapters...

But does Oculus Link work as good as the real connection with the Rift S? Linus said it had some wobbliness?

If you get a good cable it works great, I've played many hours in Link without issues. Of course there are more "moving parts" with link so more ways for things to go wrong.

I don't know anyone with a Rift S so have never been able to compare.
