Well this is a very strange predicament and I have racked my brain and google with no answer for it. I bought a cheap On brand mouse and it is refusing to work on this computer. I tested it on another computer and it worked perfectly so I know it isn't the mouse. I have have attempted to uninstall both the mouse and my USB drivers, but I am not sure if that worked. This laptop says it is registering it and that it's drivers are up to date, and the mouse is receiving power and is the optical light is responding to movement, but it is just not working. Two extra things to not is I had a problem where this computer refused to print hooked up directly to a printer via USB. It also works with my ps3 controller after I installed inmotionjoy. The USB slots also work with flash drives. Please help I am at wits end. So the mouse just isnt working And I just cant figure it out.
