Hi All,
First time on the LLT Forum. I am trying to build a PC for 4k Editing and some small CAD operations(And some minor gaming if possible). I wanted some help with the part compatibility and some guidance on what parts might be a better value.

Budget (including currency): $1800 NZD (200$ up or down) (Somewhere around $800 to $1000) (Mostly trying to keep it as low as possible without compromising on performance)

Country: New Zealand

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some minor games(Stellaris, Civilization VI). Davinci Resolve and Solidworks(CAD Applications). There might be more applications that I might get into in the future so trying to make it as future proof as possible.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

As of now, I had a part list made last week for the build. But given the recent news regarding the Ryzen's next gen processors, I was wondering if it would be better to change the whole system and wait for the B550 motherboards and Ryzen 4000 or if that wouldn't make much difference.

The current parts are:

CPU : Ryzen 5 3600

CPU Cooler : Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB

Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard

Ram : Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 Memory (White Version) or Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 RGB ATX MidTower

Storage : Trying to find a good & compatible M.2 NVMe drive (250 GB or 512 GB) along with maybe a WD Blue 2TB for Footage Storage.

Case : Corsair 275R Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case

Video Card : I'm conflicted between two cards. A online build guide suggested 1660 Ti but most builds on YouTube are going for RTX 2060. (Davinci relies on both CPU and GPU compared to Premiere)

Power Supply : Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Right now, I'm trying to find a cheap and good 4k Monitor over here and since I want to use the Color Correction capabilities of Davinci Resolve, I wanted to run the system on a 4k Display. Maybe down the line, I might add a second monitor(Probably a 1080p display to help with productivity and to pair with both the PC and my Laptop). This is my first PC Desktop and I right now use a Surface Pro 4 so anything would be a upgrade.

Thanks in advance for the help. :)
