Rx5700XT or wait

Im fairly new to buying graphics cards and Im wondering if I should buy the RX5700xt now or if I should wait for AMD and Nvidia to launch their next gen Gpu's? Im willing to wait and the Rx5700xt is enough to do what I need it to do. My gpu Budget is $400. But im willing to go $500 if I absolutly need to.

What's your current PC, what games/software do you run, what's your monitor resolution/refresh rate?

My pc is going to have a ryzen 7 3700x, a tomohawk b450mobo, 650watt psu, 32gb of ram, possibly rx5700xt. I dont play to many modern AAA titles and i do blender a little and i got a 1080p monitor with another 1600/900 monitor with 144 hz on the 1080p monitor.

Then just grab a used RX 590 potentially, as it's the cheapest card with 8GBs of VRAM

 

or any Polaris card really

 

could buy 2 of them just for blender if you're feeling crazy

Yea but i play Half Life Alyx and a rx590 isnt gonna cut it.

Then just buy the 5700/XT
