OC ram and cpu

hey im new to OC and looking for some help finding beginner forms or something. I have ryzen 7 2700x and i just installed dark rock pro 4 today. its on b450 msi gaming pro carbon ac. My ram is corsair vengeance lpx 3200 cl16.

Dont use ryzen master for Memory overclocking. IMHO dont use it for cpu either but you can try

it just seems so much simpler than going into bios. why do u say dont use it?

also i didnt plan on using it for the ram just the cpu.

im at 4.2 ghz and 1.3125v. should i go higher?

got to 4.1 at 1.375v couldnt get it stable at 4.2 went to 1.4125v

2700X is just about maxed from the box.

Typicall all core loads depending on temps is 3.9/4.0

Should be good around 4.1ghz at 1.410v give or take some v-core.

 

Getting 4.2ghz stable may require better temps/cooling. In the 80c range it wont be stable.

I got cinebench to 4048 at 4.1 ghz couldnt get 4.2 stable guess i didnt win the silicon lottery lol. thanks for the help
