Pentium II troubles

I got this pentium II I was planning on using for windows 95/dos gaming and for the life of me I can't get the thing to boot from a windows 95 cd. Everytime I insert the disk it tells me

"Invalid system disk, replace the disk and then press any key"

any help would be appreciated.

Uhh, are you sure the disc is bootable?  I remember having to create a floopy disc to boot and then run the install from the CD using a command line.

I think the first bootable CD I had was until Windows 98 second edition.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Got it working, So in future reference to anyone who has this problem You MUST set the cd rom drive in the bios to boot 1st and not 2nd. These older bioses just derp if there is no os on the C drive.
