Hello everyone,

So I had some bluescreen issues and I susspected there was something wrong with my Rams. I have 16gb corsair vengence lpx 3000MHz in 2x8gb dual channel. So I tested them in dual channel with memtest86 and turns out, I got errors. Tested them individually and 1 of the 2 sticks turned out to have errors while the other was good. I am pretty sure corsair wont let me get a warranty claim couse I dont have the receipt. So I was like, okey, just keep the good 8gb stick and buy 1 new 8gb stick and its good as new.

My memory is:

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3000MHz (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)

and the only 8gb 3000MHz stick from corsair than I found was:

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4-3000MHz (CMK8GX4M1D3000C16)

Now, the problem is that the code names on those 2 are different, whats the difference between D3000 and B3000? Also one has 15 cas letency while the other has 16. This was the only single 8gb stick that I could find from corsair. Will I have a problem with it, or am I screwed and have to buy 2 new ones?

Thanks in advance for the answers :)
