New Ram Installation

Hello everybody, I have just installed 2 ram dimms of 16 gig 3600 speed ram. When I open my computer, it says it’s running at 2133. What do I have to change?

How do I do this? I have an asrock board

It varies from board to board, but you have to go into your bios, and then in either OC settings, memory settings, advanced settings, etc (it varies depending on your mobo).

 

Once there you simply enable the setting (I believe it's DOCP on Asus board, and XMP on any other brand?), and you just switch it to enable, then restart your PC.

 

If that confuses you just hop on youtube and search how to enable XMP with your particular board, and it should solve it for you.
