Hwy guys i just overclocked my Asus R9 270X Direct CUII TOP and here are the results. But i didn't change anything except the GPU Clock and i was looking at this article http://www.overclockers.com/asus-r9+270X-directcuii-top-graphics-card-review and it says that his memory is 1500 mhz. Now my question is why is my memory clock 5600 mhz and please don't be rude it is my first PC ihavebuilt and overclocked.

GDDR memory typically has a much larger bus than your PC's word size (64 bits). So effectively you get mem clock * (mem bus width/64) mhz of bandwidth.

edit:

1400 * (256/64) =

1400 * 4 =

5600
