m.2 not working

i recently got a m.2 nvme ssd by crucial and i have it installed in my mobo correctly and my bios is not reading it or windows i have reinstalled it lots of times and nothing i seem to do works what i have been told is that either my mobo or m.2 would be broken but i hope its not 

pc specs

mobo: asrock b450m ac

cpu: ryzen 5 3600

ram: t force delts rgb

gpu: xfx rx580

psu: evga 500 br

hdd: 500gb seagate
