Hi everyone. I am about to add another ram module, in order to enable dual channel, it's the same ram (xmp 16gb module). Do I need to do anything? Should I reset bios to optimal settings since I changed the ram speed to 3200? Or it's just plug and play. Thanks a lot

Make sure that:

- The module is identical (but as I understand you that's the case)

- Make sure you put it in the correct slot (check your motherboard manual, often they are color coded to show the matching slots)

- Check your BIOS settings to make sure that all RAM is recognized and running at the correct speeds. If supported by your motherboard, select the correct (XMP) timing profile to match your memory.
