Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU?

Hello. I have a Intel Core i7 860 2,8GHz cpu, and I am looking forward buying a Sapphire R9 270X Vapor-X. Will my CPU bottleneck the GPU ?

No this won't bottleneck it per se, but you won't be getting as high of FPS as you would from say an i7-4770k. Though it's not that big of a deal.

Nope! You will be just fine with a Sapphire R9 270X Vapor-X http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G36G9ZA and your i7 860. There won't be a bottleneck but as MarxistPC said, you may have some FPS drop in highly CPU intensive games and applications.

Some older games like ARMA II will bottleneck, but games like BF4 and Crysis 3 should run perfectly
