Building bugget gaming pc

I like to know where i can find cheap CPU. I’m on bugget but i managed to get Asus prime z270-a motherboard -$150 and gtx 1050ti- -$70. I’m looking to buy core i7-7700k. To complete my first gaming pc.

What is your budget and where do you live?

Should have thought this out before you bought that motherboard. Btw, $150 isn't budget, not a great deal.

7700k's are pricey still. Would have gone with AMD, as you can see from the forums... new chips are out that are fast and cheap.

Well you could buy a 'i7 7700' ES from aliexpress. Those are available from about 65 US. Not guaranteed to work though.

If i had to buy a cpu and i was on a budget and i already had a z270 board would get a i5 6500 /6600 for under 100.

Sure if you can find a i5 6600K or i7 6700K for a reasonable price (under 100-120)go for it.

Kaby lake is a ripoff on the used market currently.

Basically 6th gen but with optane support.

4 cores is 4 cores. You aint gettin no more cores on that board than that.

Or you could sell the board and buy a Z490 motherboard (100-200 dollar)and a retail i5 10400 non k(200 dollar)from alibaba.

Gets you 2 more cores for only a couple bucks more, as well as more upgrade potential

Or go ryzen if you dont mind going to AMD.

You should've told us your whole budget. BTW the i7-7700K is very price, even used, so IDK how you're gonna find one below 200$, I mean you can try out your luck. You could've gone cheaper asking here first before building. Also no offense but the 1050Ti is a joke of a card (because I have one), a used RX 560 would've been a lot better.
