Hi all LTT community,

I'm thinking about getting a new PC mouse because at the moment I've only got a Microsoft Basic Mouse and I would like to find a new mouse that is also ergonomic as well just so it's more comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

Any suggestions are welcome. There is no budget at this time as I just want to see what you guys can come up with.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Personally, I believe the best ergonomic mice are the ones that have rests for your thumb, ring, and pinky fingers.

Func MS-3²: http://www.func.net/en/products/ms-3-revision-2/

Func MS-3: http://www.func.net/en/products/ms-3/

Mionix Naos 8200: http://mionix.net/products/naos-8200/

Mionix Naos 7000: http://mionix.net/products/naos-7000/

Mionix Naos 5000: http://mionix.net/products/naos-5000/

Mionix Naos 3200: http://mionix.net/products/naos-3200/

Func is redoing the MS-3 right now, so I would wait for a little on that one, it's suppose to be available now, but I can't find a retailer to purchase the new MS-3² from. Mionix has their NAOS line, which is their ergonomic side. I've played with the NAOS 5000 and I loved it, but I'm opting for a MS-3² when it's available.

Get the Razer Naga 2014, the new design uses a new and improved ergonomic grip. Plus the 12 MMO optimized mechanical buttons on the side are quite useful for games like Minecraft and Battlefield 4.

The mouse currently costs $80 CAD and you can get it on Amazon for $69 CAD so it's not the priciest mouse. It's completely worth what you pay for it though, I am always pleased with Razer products.

Roccat Kone if you are like me and have large hands. It fits perfectly in my hand, and is very, very comfortable to use. It's moderately cheap, and I love it. If you want something more customizable, I'd recommend the RAT.9. I personally own both of these mice and would recommend both to anybody looking for a right handed ergonomic mouse.

Deathadder oh and the mice that @EChondo suggested those are great.

And it would be even better if you gave what grip you use.

What do you mean, what grip? It's just a basic MS mouse. Please explain?

Performance MX, G602.

The Logitech Performance MX looks awesome. Will definitely be added that to the list.

No, he meant the way you hold your mouse: http://www.razerzone.com/mouseguide/ergonomic/advantage

There's Palm, finger,  and claw, each are different styles and have different ways you handle your mouse. I have big hands and I prefer big mice, so I usually palm my mice.

Disregard the fact that it's a subsidiary, I think, company of Mad Catz, but for ergonomic customizing the Cyborg RAT series might be one of the better mice available.

http://www.cyborggaming.com/#

Though several Logitech and Mionix mice are very well shaped as well. Just remember that if a mouse is specifically shaped, there's a good chance it won't be the right fit for you.

That said... For me, personally, the new Naga 2014 isn't as comfortable as I thought it would be due to it's bulbous shape, though the old Naga was legit for me. And I have fairly large hands. 6'3".

I also own the Naga 2014 but I'm using a Steelseries Sensei, and it's surprisingly the most comfortable mouse I've used in a long time. That's just me though.

Hmm okay, thanks for clarifying that with a link. :D

I think I'd be across between a Claw and Palm grip. I tend do use both for different things.

I've updated my OP. I use the Palm and Claw grip for different things so I just put Palm/Claw. I hope that helps. :)

@nsyedhasan, I was looking at the Logitech Performance MX mouse and there appears to be a Logitech M950T mouse that looks identical to the Performance MX, I'd even go as far as to say that I think it's the exact same mouse with a different name.

What do you think?

Mad Catz did buy Cyborg a while back, but I don't think they have a hand in their mouse design, at least as far as I know.

Hmm, if you don't mind, could you tell us your hand size? How to measure: http://www.ergocanada.com/products/mice/ergonomic/contour_design/perfit/pmo_size.html

For reference, my hands are considered large, 7.5" long from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger. When I held the NAOS it felt nearly perfect, if it was a little longer or my hands were a little shorter, it would match up in length perfectly, but it felt great when palming it. Palm and claw are very different styles, so if you have short/medium hands and you interchange between those two styles, then you might want to look at shorter mice, but that all depends on what you think you'll be comfortable with.

My thumbs cramped on the performance mx, the g700s would be a better option in my opinion.

They bought saitek and cyborg is a saitek line, not of of their better on since it was really designed by madcatz and just released under the saitek name. I remeber when the saitek eclipse was the defacto standard gaming keyboatd for many.
