Fan fitting issue

I bought a NZXT RGB fan for the top of my NZXT 510 Elite case, and I can't fit it without pushing a bit hard into the motherborad cpu power connectors.

Any Idea? I'm thinking of peeling that part of the fan or return it. I have a gigabyte 2070 super and a 3900x with the NZXT Kraken x62, would it be a good idea to just don't add any more fan.

i wouldn't recommend pushing into those. does it run at decent temps? if so, i wouldn't even bother with it. either way, doesn't seem to be much of an option.
