Thank you very much for your reply.

You are welcome.

Most of the time RGB and ARGB use the same type of header but one of the pin is not used (You can also spot 3 wires instead of 4).

It should work. But unfortunately I've never had those product on hand and I am not able to provide additional information, especially on the degree of control/customization available (which is always the problem with RGB/ARGB products).

Hello,

This is my first post, so please go easy..

I have scoured the internet it seems to try and get my head around the Silverstone FW124-aRG pin definition. On their website it states pin definition of these fans is +5V, D, NP, G. What I am trying to work out is this a proprietary pin definition for Silverstone products, as every RGB controller I can find states 5v,D,G.

Does anyone know what the NP stands for, or if their pin definition would be suitable for something like the Zalman Z-Sync RGB controller which has a 5v,D,G pin definition listed?

I have the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, which only has 12v RGB headers, and I am in need of some low profile aRGB fans (Silverstone FW124s are perfect, 15mm thick). If the Silverstone mentioned fit the Zalman Z-Sync then it would be perfect as it connects to a USB2 header on the motherboard as a posed to the 12v RBG headers. RBG can then be controlled/sync'd with Razer Chroma.

Sorry for the long post, but I am pulling my hair out!

Thanks for reading.

I guess it's "Not Plugged" or something similar, so I assume it will work.
