Small enough to fit into a backpack? I don't think it's really something he minds so any size

Got it. I have some ideas, I'm looking at in game specs. I know this is slightly out of the budget, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-14-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-9-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-1tb-ssd-moonlight-white/6403816.p?skuId=6403816&ref=212&loc=1&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-r71BRDuARIsAB7i_QMHBYBhUgSgGGZxlGUu2Ye440I3F6HTJo-7k1M19gDiXTWvnRPaJ1saAstMEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds  is there any chance they would be willing to spend a bit more?

Budget (including currency): 1200 USD or Less

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Nier Automota, Conan Exiles, Overwatch, Stardew Valley, EMULATORS FOR SNES AND 64, probably some light editing for profile pictures, youtube, Wikipedia, and tons of READING.

Other details 1080p minimum, 60hz Minimum. ( Because his last laptop was 60 fps )

Details:

Tl;Dr My friend wants a new computer for Nier Automota since his last one died

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Also that series is currently coming out. So you may want to wait a little bit.

Laugh out loud, because reasons presented :D

Laptop is not a "real" computer.
