aight so my friend was trying to fix my usb stick but he selected the wrong drive and he unmounted my drive. Im not sure exactly what he did but basicly my drive doesnt show up anymore. He installed some software wich scanned my drive and in the software everything showed up but i have to pay for the software to recover it. I need the data like.. RIGHT NOW.
Im kinda fucked i just need a link to a free data recovery software.

Is this an internal drive that's been unmounted? If so, you don't need a recovery software, you just need to remount it.

Press Win + R, type cmd and press enter, then type in "diskpart" and press enter. From there a new window should show up. Type in "list volume" and find your drive, then type "select volume #" to select that volume based on its number, and finally type in "assign letter=_" with whatever letter you want to give the drive, D is the most common for second drives.

And keep your friend away from your computer.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
