Hello!

I am currently trying to build a PC for myself that is suitable for gaming, I however do not know anything if at all when it comes ti computers. I've played on PC before and know the basics and have done some research, but it's making my head spin and it is in general confusing me. I'm currently trying to build a PC that's around a $1200 budget range that has a few specs that I think would work the best for me and what I do, based on the research I've done. If I could get some help from this community on what I should buy in order to make the PC functioning that would be greatly appreciated.

What I want:

The things that I want in the PC are as follows for the following reasons:

GTX 2070 Super Graphics card - Based on the research I've done this is the best performing high-end graphics card for the price it's listed at, though I am willing to swap it out for a GTX 1660 Super if it will limit the rest of the build severly.

DDR4 3600 ram, with at least 16GB min ram - I've found that faster ram, at least that at 3600, is better performing and that anything higher than 16GB for a gaming system is essentially wasted money, though I might want to get into video editing later, I can swap the ram out later if I need to.

Ryzen CPU and compatible motherboard - I've heard through the grapevine that there's less and less reason to get Intel equipment due to various reasons, none of which I can remember.

Everything else I know nothing about, or close to nothing about and as such don't have a preference on, The storage for the PC works across any system regardless of CPU, GPU, ram, or the motherboard right? Otherwise, I'm wanting a 2TB Hard drive with a modest SSD to run the system on.

I can worry about monitors, keyboards and the like later on and the price of those are not included in the budget I laid above. Please help me! I haven't been able to play some of my favorite games for almost 2 years and now's my chance to rectify that.

If you want some more perspective download the file form my signature. In the file are different partpicker lists and different budgets.

Well true and not true. rx 5700 XT from AMD is only around 5% worse than rtx 2070 super but 20% cheaper

that NZXT case doesnt have that good airflow. The Focus G has good airflow already, with addiotional fans it can get even better
