Is the an reliable source for information on case painting? Tried a few you-tube videos but most of them never even say the material they are painting. And some of them don't even take the components out the case (mild cringe).

I am planning to paint my antec torque case which I believe is powder coated on the black parts and anodised on the white parts (someone please correct me if i am wrong).

I am sure the must be some information out there due to the popularity of case modding.

painting cases are usually pretty safe. just remove:

the motherboard standoffs (if it has any)

the front panel and it's connectors.

fans and their connections

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

I know the isn't much risk involved but i want the finish to last I dont want it flaking off and I know aluminium is generally considered very hard to paint to.
