Whille shopping for motherboards, ive been looking at the MSI X470 Gaming Plus only because the price difference to the 450 is very close.  One thing i noticed is that it doesnt come with a display port and doesnt support hdmi 2.0 from what I see.  My question to you is does not having a display port or hdmi 2.0 a make or break deal to you?  My build that im specking out is for a 1440p.  Will I be good with the board or is their a better option out there.  And does my specs allow me to achieve 1440. Thanks

My specs are...

Ryzen 5 3600

EVGA  GeoForce RTX 2070 XC Ultra Gaming

G Skill 2x8 DDR-4 3600 CAS 16

WD Blue 500gb nvme

Seagate 2tb hdd

EVGA 750 GQ 80+ Gold

don't worry about the video connector on the motherboard. it's mostly just for trouble shooting and setup if you can't or don't have a GPU. you'll use the ports on the back of the GPU for video.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.
