Hi everyone, hope you are well.

I am very confused on how to stream my Famicom on Twitch.  I am an affiliate fishing for a bigger community, and my love for retro gaming should help to boost it.  Anyhow, I don't want to just record my Famicom on a phone, or other video camera.  This seems like a simple task, but it hasn't been easy to figure out tbh.  I will include two links to items that might work, but I have no idea.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XF7Z5DM?tag=aboutcom02lifewire-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1  Problem with this one is that it might be a different TV connection, and it might not actually be a RF connector

https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Tuner-Capture-Express-Desktop/dp/B07QMGK9VH/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=pci-e+rf+capture&qid=1588136281&sr=8-1 this one also looks like it might work, and it is more what I am looking for, but with one review, it seems more sketch.

My price range is preferably under 70 dollars.  Please help, but don't answer if you're going to be mean.

Both of those are (primarily intended) for digital TV tuners rather than the RF signal that the Famicom outputs. You might be better served by an RF to Composite adapter (and a capture card that takes Composite video), something not unlike this one:

https://www.amazon.com/GE-38806-Modulator-Video-Converter/dp/B074JW9W3Z/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=rf+to+composite&qid=1588137168&s=electronics&sr=1-5

Just make sure you get a converter that accepts the output of a Japanese video device, like the Famicom is.

From there, you really just need to find a Composite video capture card, something like this would more than likely be perfect for your needs.

https://www.amazon.com/AVerMedia-Definition-Composite-Cyberlink-C039/dp/B00603S1OS/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=composite+video+capture&qid=1588137264&sr=8-3

@handymanshandle That is a great find for a capture card and I will probably buy it when I have the other side of this equation.  The modulator you sent me is composite input and rf output and I couldn't find one that is the other way around.  I think it might be how I am searching it.

Just looked at it again and I guess you're right. The labeling on the device itself is massively confusing, then.

This does appear to be a proper RF to Composite converter, though.

@handymanshandle Now the only question is what does "without rf port" mean and why does it only have 2.5 stars?

Think it just says that to say that this is an RF to Composite converter, rather than the opposite.

It probably has 2.5 stars because it's more than likely not great, but at the very least, it's a start to finding what you need. I guess worst case scenario, you return it if it doesn't work how you want it to and you get a refund.

@handymanshandle Having issues finding what I need.  What if I get one of the originally posted items and convert the analogue to digital https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-an-RF-adapter/  this is the type of cord I would need to do so, but I bet I can just buy one online instead of cutting any wires.

Potentially? That guide seems to be more for converting the RCA RF connector into coaxial RF rather than RF to composite. If that makes finding an RF to composite adapter that doesn't require an RCA connector easier, though, it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a cable like that.

@handymanshandle Look I finally found one that'd probably work: https://www.amazon.com/Analog-NTSC-Tuner-Demodulator-Output/dp/B01KC03BQ2/ref=psdc_280341_t2_B06XP2VSTD But I ain't paying that much for it

Actually just thought of a half-decent idea: why not use a VCR to convert the RF signal to Composite? Shouldn't be hard to find a VCR that takes analog RF input and can output it to Composite video.

@handymanshandle would you plug it into antenna in?

Yeah. Most VCRs from the 1990s have the coaxial RF connector rather than the RCA RF connector, so while you'd have to get a converter cable for that, it'd hardly be a pain to actually get by.
