depend on if you are using a board capable of PCIe 4.0. 

 

 

also both a pretty poor value for what they are offering.

I use x570 board with PCIe 4.0, is MP600 better than 970 EVO plus ?, in this case

its faster, tho in some scenarios it can be a touch slower. 

 

 

neither should really be considered in  for workloads that need a lot of write speed. nor for normal users as there are better offerings. 

 

 

also you havent presented a scenario, so there really isnt any case to consider

I use for large database project, with write operation much intensive than read operation

If you write a ton of data, then you should be looking at Pro drives from samsung or DLC/2-bit MLC flash. 

 

As those have much better sustained write performance. (As in writes that last more than 30-100gb, 100gb being when the drive is almost empty).

 

This is because TLC/3-bit MLC start dropping in speed to about 700mb/s once the dynamic cache runs put. 

 

2-bit MLC slowing tl avout 1200mb/s instead.

Yes, with lots of writes you want the WD SN750 or Samsung 970 EVO Plus among the TLC-based options, although the E12-based drives are a budget alternative.
