New Motherboard?

So my Gigabyte x79-ud3 died yesterday(moment of silence please). Basically I need to pick up a new one and the x79-up4 looks great but it cost the same as the ud3? What gives? Also, is there a specific motherboard you guys would recommend for an lga2011 build? I prefer not to spend more then $300. Thankyou

Canadian currency. To be honest I rather not go with a sabertooth. I have heard both good and bad things and the bad makes me question it. I also am not a fan of the brown on this model. Thanks though!

I am a big fan of ROG products but I don't see a micro-atx going with my 750D. Also the 32gb memory cap wont do. Thanks though, keep the suggestions coming!

it seems good by what I've read on there website but I don't think I will be much help with that motherboard sorry :(
