I am currently in the process of compiling a list of upgrades for when I get round to 'modernizing' my current PC build and one of my main concerns is the CPU cooler....  I am currently using a Cooler Master 'Hyper 103' to cool my 7600k, which is running at 4.6 GHz, with zero thermal throttling.... (this is all for future upgrades on the budget of a Uni student.. (aka, the lowest possible price bracket....) I do hope to upgrade to ryzen and a somewhat reasonable 'RTX' graphics card, but the current situation has put my upgrades on hold for the foreseeable future (this is a build planned in the region of ~6-12 months in advance. {so apologies if things don't quite work out as intended....})

If you're aiming to keep costs low, you can try using the stock cooler.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
