Random purple tint?

My mates pc.

 

he runs a game, gets a random purple tint sometimes. thinks its a gpu issue. has a 2070 and 9700k. has tried not overclocking it.

 

today his pc stopped working. black screen on restart. he took gpu out put it back in it works again. opened overwatch, purple tint. he has 2 monitors they both get a purple tint. restarting pc fixes tint but opening games makes it again.
