im helping friend build pc, his budget is 1500-1700EURO including monitor

he wants only to play games. not overclocking, video editing, blabla

monitor is fixed he wants same as mine (benq 120hz)

 

i choose following parts 

 

i5 4440

auss 780

msi b85-g41

corsair 8gb (later upgrade to 16)

samsung 120 evo (os)

seagate 2tb

seasonic 620w

asus dvdwriter

benq xl2420t monitor

case undecided

 

he dont care about anything just want to play games at high fps and decent graphics for next 2 years.

 

what i need to know is are there any cheaper alternative to any

also is 620w enough for sli 780 in future ? i know linus made video about that but cant remember how much he said was enough/

Everything else seems ok. 

 

And no, 620 won't be enough for SLI/XFire. 700W+ is where you want to look.

That MOBO does not support SLI - only Crossfire.  If you want to consider SLI, you need a MOBO that supports it or supports BOTH SLI & Crossfire.  I would spend a little more money on the MOBO myself either way.

OK, but it looks like that 2nd PCI lane is only 4x, rather than 8x on that MSI MOBO.
