I'm in the market for a ultrawide monitor with 1440p res at minimum. I'll be using the monitor for work, video editing/photoshop, and occasional gaming, budget is $700 and under the more I can save the better honestly.

It's preferable that the monitor has as high color accuracy and color gamut as possible, 99% - 100% sRGB coverage would be nice. VESA compatibility would be required as well since I plan on mounting a existing 4k monitor above it, refresh rate is kind of a afterthought but a higher refresh rate couldn't hurt when I occasionally decide to game. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Here are the monitors I've been looking at:

Philips 346B1C UltraWide 34: https://amzn.to/2xQ2MmF

119% sRGB - 8 bit - 100hz - 100mm VESA - $505.94 on Amazon

ViewSonic VP3481 34: https://amzn.to/3cK3f8D

100% sRGB - 8 bit - 100hz  - 100mm VESA - HDR10 - $699.99 on Amazon

LG Electronics 34UB88-P 34: https://amzn.to/2Y0IK3o

99% sRGB - 10 bit(8 bit + FRC) - 60hz - 100mm VESA - $553.41 on Amazon

BenQ EX3501R 34: https://amzn.to/2W1pf8f

100% sRGB - 8 bit - 100hz - VESA adaptor(no longer manufactured) - HDR10 - $748.11 on Amazon(Sometimes drops to $549.99)

The Viewsonic is currently what I'm leaning towards getting at the moment, I would have pulled the trigger on the BenQ but it has not native VESA mount support. The did sell a VESA mount adapter for the monitor but the 3rd party company that they paid to make them went out of business so there are no adapters now. If anyone has better suggestions I'd love to see them.

I'd straight away discount the LG for the lower refresh rate. Even for normal every day use, high refresh rate is nice.

It'd be between the Philips and ViewSonic for me. If you consume HDR content, go for the ViewSonic I guess. But it's a $200 difference...

Go for IPS monitor.

In your list the ViewSonic or LG.

I was in similiar situation like you recently and by price/specs I went to buy the LG 34WL600-B but it is 1080p,
Same model 1440p would be LG 34WL750-B

Check LG business monitors, they are usually low refresh rate but cheaper.

I'll keep checking the LG monitors for pricing.

I'll probably end up with the Viewsonic, but I might grab the BenQ when prices drop. Someone might be able to 3d print a VESA mount adapter for it.

No I have not, I don't have that monitor so I couldn't have reviewed it. If your recommending it, it's out of my budget anyway. I'm looking for a monitor below $700.
