Performance feedback

Go to solution Solved by svmlegacy,

Try running UserBenchmark to see if your hardware is performing in line with others of the same spec.

I'm running a ROG B350F board (bios update applied upon install in january 2018) paired with a Ryzen 1600, 16 GB 3200 MHz ram (2x8 on xmp profile) and a EVGA 1070 superclock black (drivers updated). Displayed on a 1080 resolution. It runs fine but I feel like it should be running better as far as FPS.

Games like Fallout 76, Ghost recon breakpoint and Borderlands 3 fluctuate from low 30's up to 60s regularly. I typically run on high settings (though most games auto set to high/ultra mixed and I change it to try for more stable frames). Thermals are good, CPU runs around 50c and GPU runs warmer than I'd like at around high 60 c/low 70 c. I've run Cinebench which seems to produce expected results based on similar built specs.

Maybe I'm just expecting more from it, I don't know. I'm heading back to work and will try to respond when I can. Thanks for any help.

Edit-650 watt PSU and Windows 10 64 bit

Yes, it appears everything is performing normally for your system.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora
