Would the 80hms version be alright as well? Or do you think only the 250s are worth it?

The 250 sounds the best. The 80 ohms are Greta if you find a deal on them otherwise I would go for the 250 ohm

Hey so i need some help finding some good headphones to use as a daily driver . But i have a couple of needs and there are too many headphones to choose .

So if you got any Recommendations i would love to hear them!!

So i mostly play games like PUBG , DOOM , Dead By Daylight , CSGO . So anything where i can hear footsteps in a surround sound settings would be amazing.

Im a big fan of bass , I love listening to Punk , Rock ,  and Orchestra Music with cellos .

And i need headphones that wont leak sound . I cant play anything hearing my a.c blasting and loud mechanical keyboard .

And i DONT need a MIC!

So to summarize

Price Range - 100$ to 200$

Good Low bass

Dont need mic (Already have blue yeti)

Closed Back headphones! .

Give me any recommendations! I would love to hear what you guys use as daily drivers as well!!

Plz Help!

My favorites for bassy gaming closed backs are the dt 770 250 ohm does need a bit of power so I believe we should be able to fit an fx audio dac x6 into the budget for an amp/dac. It the one more triple driver over ears. Pretty good for gaming nice bass response.

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. The bass is excellent, and so is the rest of the spectrum. You'll have no issue listening to all types of music with these. They block noise better than anything. Seriously, noise isolation is so good it's scary.

They do clamp the head a bit hard, but the earcups are nice and large and won't pinch your ears.

EDIT: might consider the DT770 over these. The velour pads and lesser clamping force will be much appreciated for long gaming sessions.

Edit 2: I was daily driving the $50 AKG K92 for 1 year. Honestly, no complaints. They easily work for gaming. Comfort is excellent. They don't need a fancy DAC or amp. Sound quality is just fine. But you won't be blown away with deep rich bass or amazing detail.

What amp would you recommend for the dt 770 250 ? I'm also intrested in using a audio Technician mic , and I hear that you need a amp in order to use it on the pc . Is there something that could help me connect the two?

Oh alright . I was interested in the Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone . If i decided to only get that basic amp for my headphones. Would i need to buy another amp for my microphone? Or is there something that can do both . I dont mind paying a bit higher to future proof myself if im interested in getting  better mics in the future.

Is there any settings to improve volume?

That's strange the 2i2 should be able to power it to a good volume level if not loud evennat least that's what the specs claim. We can do a few things and change the interface to something with more power which may be more expensive or change headphones to something more efficient, or grab a separate amp and just add it to the signal chain
