Hey guys, new to this forum as well ss to pc building to begin with. Ill start with listing my set up:

Ryzen 5 2600

Gigabyte b450m ds3h

Xfx radeon rx 570

Corsair 450w 80+ bronze

T force vilcan Z ddr4 3000

So i had a buddy of mine who has built multiple computers before put it together (not because i dont necessarily know how mostly because he wanted to) and he couldnt get it to POST. So i brought it home and re did everything and same thing.... the leds on my Mobo light up, my cpu fan is running, the RAM is in the right dimms, i tried running my visuals through my gpu and through the driver of the mobo and same thing, nothing comes up on my screen. I dont have any other ram sticks to swap them out with at the moment... im just tryjng to figure out if theres anyone that can help point me in any direction.

Sorry if this is a long post, appreciate any help i can get.

FIX: I ended up clearing the cmos with the shortout pins on the mobo and i was able to get it to Boot! Dont know what exactly caused it but skmething mustve went wrong in the initial start up

Your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, so you can only plug into the GPU for output to display.  SacredBovine has suggested the easiest starting point.  Also check that all your cable are in the right place and secure.  Remove and reseat the graphics card.  If your friend has a graphics card they can loan you try that to see if your card is any good.  Following that try removing the CPU to check for any bent pins and then reseat and paste the CPU.  Does your MOBO have any debug lights?
