Audio Jack issues

I just built a computer and have the Lian Li 011 dynamic case with a rog z390e motherboard and nvidia rtx 2070 super. Everything works completely fine except my audio jacks. The top one I can speak but there is a loud buzzing feedback but cannot hear anything out of it. The bottom jack I can hear perfectly but can't speak. Any advice on how to fix this or what I should do? My monitor has an audio jack but can't figure out how to make that work either. I have an Acer Predator z321qu

The audiojacks in the case or the motherboard? What wire are you using for the monitor? Only HDMI and DP support audio transfer.

most probably you are confused because these are not combo jacks. Depending on the color you can either add a mic/ or headphones, but if these are combined together using a single cable one of the two devices isn't going to work.
