Qnap RAID 0 static volume backup

Anyone have experience removing drives from Qnap ts451 and backing them up to Windows or Linux? I have two drives that I'd like to remove files from but my qnap DOA. Drives startup, but I did not want to plug them into my PC and create another issue. I'd like to move everything over to a FreeNas i5 system that I have just built.
