HDMI NOT WORKING

Hi, I have a bit of a problem,

when I use the dvi-d port on my motherboard it works fine, but when I try to use hdmi, I get to the bios and grub - but then the screen gose blank.

Specs:

ASUS b450-plus

Ryzen™ 3 3200G

8G ram on one stick 

manjaro linux (the situation is the same with ubuntu)
